He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed internal medicine training at Ohio State University Hospital and Wayne State University School of Medicine, and completed his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the Mayo Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has practiced endocrinology in California for more than four decades.
His clinical interests include diabetes management, thyroid disease, lipid and metabolic disorders, and pituitary and neuroendocrine conditions.
